From a backyard sauna space to a permanent community bathhouse in Denver — a hidden garden within the city, built for ritual, restoration, and connection.
the space
Designed with High, Low, Buffalo Architecture, the Welton Street site becomes a stepped back landscape of saunas, cold plunges, hot pools, terraces, and open-air gathering spaces. Sunlight filters through. Water reflects and dapples below.
the neighborhood
KODU is being built in Five Points — a neightborhood long shaped by music, culture, and community. Bathhouse culture carries that same spirit: spaces where people slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time together.
the movement
As Denver grows, KODU becomes part of a new generation of social spaces in Five Points and RiNo — centered not around consumption or perfromance, but around presence, conversation, and shared epxerience.
"We believe bathhouse culture can reshape how people gather and reconnect within cities."
If you are an ivestor, collaborator, or community partner who connects with this vision, we would love to hear from you as we continue building KODU step by step.
